Itty Bitty Board Books

I made this Stampin' Up Color Swatch book with my new Bind-It-All. There's a page for each color family, the In-Colors, and Neutrals.

Stamps: None
Paper: SU Ginger Blossom, Groovy Guava
Ink: Rose Red (cover), All Stampin' Up colors (inside)
Accessories: chipboard flower, Bind-It-All, medium weight chipboard coasters, 1" silver coil, large oval punch

My next-door neighbors are the nicest people in the world. They are retired, and have practically adopted all of the children on our cul-de-sac as their very own grandchildren. I made this book for Linda ~ the first page says "Linda's Kids", and each subsequent page has a photo of one of their "adopted grandchildren". The last two pages are group photos. When the kids brought it to her she cried. Happy tears, I hope.

Stamps: None
Paper: Baby Girl Collection (DCWV), Cameo Coral
Ink: Cameo Coral
Accessories: mini brads, chipboard letter "L", Nestabilities square and scallop square punch, Bind-It-All, medium weight chipboard coasters, 1" silver coil

My Blue Baby

I've been fascinated by the Bind-It-All for a very long time, and finally decided to get one of my own.

This machine is really awesome. It allows you to make spiral bound products like Board Books, Albums, Recipes Books, Address Books, Journals...well, you get the idea. There is definitely a learning curve for me with this machine, but I'll share a few of the first items I've made.

Did Someone Say Cake?!?

I needed to make a birthday card in a hurry, and managed to whip this one up in about fifteen minutes. That might just be a record for me! I'm a huge fan of Eat Cake Graphics stamps, and I think these will amuse the 11-year-old recipient.

Stamps: Image and Sentiment from Eat Cake Graphics
Paper: K&Company (Small Wonders Boy collection), Not Quite Navy, PTI White
Ink: Palette Noir Hybrid, Copic Sketch Markers
Accessories: Certainly Celery sheer ribbon

SCORE!!!!

My local scrapbooking store was going out of business and the owner was selling off her entire inventory, including the furniture. I scored these awesome paper shelves for practically nothing!!! I wish I'd gotten even more!

Get Well Soon, Kim!

I made this card for my good friend Kim (Nutsymuhl), who has been laid up while recovering from foot surgery. She's got three children and will need to stay off her foot for about eight weeks!! I can't even imagine. Feel better soon, Kim!

I used my S.E.I. Black Orchard paper for this card. I think it's really striking with the black. The lavender is colored with pastel Copics, but it's hard to see in the picture.

Stamps: Lavender (MFT), Sentiment by Verve Visual (Here for You)
Paper: SU Basic Black, PTI White, S.E.I. (Black Orchid Collection)
Ink: Palette Noir Hybrid, Copic Sketch Markers
Accessories: large oval punch, matte black brads

I'm BACK!

I know, I've been gone like, FOREVER. It's been a crazy, hectic summer and I haven't been doing much stamping. The kids have dreamed up some wild & crazy ways to pass the time, and I've been having a blast "enabling' them. Yesterday, in a fit of boredom, my boys and their friends decided to have a bubble blowing "Blow Off". They each picked out a different kind of bubble gum and I was the official picture-taker and judge. These are the three finalists:

My Sam (Hubba Bubba):

Neighbor Ian (Bazooka):

Neighbor Nate (Bubblicious):
